Polydiallyldimethyl ammonium chloride is a homopolymer of Diallyldimethylammonium chloride. It is very high charged density cationic polymer with ultra high molecular weight ranging from hundreds and thousands of grams per mole. Non ionic Polyacrylamide
The most common polymers are those based on acrylamide, which is a non-ionic polymer. Their effect is due to bridging between particles by polymer chains.
Polymers can be given anionic character by copolymerizing Acrylamide with acrylic acid.
Cationic polymers are prepared by copolymerizing acrylamide with a cationic monomer. All available acrylamide-based polymers have a specific amount of ionic monomer giving a certain degree of ionic character.
The main application of Cationic PAM is Sludge Dewatering & thickening.
Non-ion Polyacrylamide is soluble in water, but practically insoluble in organic solvent. This polymer can apply for a wide range of pH values.
Mediums disposed vary from acidic to alkaline may all achieve a better outcome. The polymer has strong flocculation ability and condensing faster. Non-ion Polyacrylamide is homopolymerized by acrylamide and molecular. It is not charged, and is suitable for the treatments of neutral wastewater whose PH value is 7.
